Privacy Policy

What type of information do you collect?

We try and collect as little information as possible. We receive, collect and store any information you enter on to the website or provide to us in any other way. In practice this will be any information which is required to complete a purchase on the website through the shop interface. Some of this information is personal information which is needed to collect payment, process an order and deliver the art work or print. The sort of information we collect includes name, email, postal address, billing address. We also take payment details (including credit card information) which is handled through the payment gateway (It is excellent, we absolutely recommend them).

We don’t sell this information to any one. We also don’t give it away for free. It is used for completing the transaction and stored securely within the shop admin interface.

How do you collect information?

When you conduct a transaction on my website, as part of the process, We collect personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address. Your personal information will be used for the specific reasons stated above only.

Why do you collect such personal information?

We collect such Non-personal and Personal Information for the following purposes:

  1. To provide and operate the Services;
  2. To provide my Users with ongoing customer assistance and technical support;
  3. To be able to contact Visitors and Users with general or personalized service-related notices and promotional messages;
  4. To comply with any applicable laws and regulations.

How do you store, use, share and disclose your site visitors’ personal information?

My website has three parts to it.

  1. The shop pieces like the cart and checkout
  2. The part which processes the payments
  3. Everything else (all those nice paintings)

The shop part is powered by Snipcart which handles all the things you would expect a shop to do. It manages taking orders, fulfilling orders and storing the history of the orders which pass through this website. Your data is stored on their secure servers, you can read more about them and their security on their website. Snipcart is hosted with PCI compliance specifications. They never store any credit card information.

Stripe handles all the payment information. Debit and credit card information is not stored anywhere other than in Stripe. This information doesn’t touch the server that the website is on, or Snipcart’s servers. You can read more about Stripe and what they are about on their website (they even have a logo wall of famous clients). Their business is in providing compliant payment methods for the internet.

Everything else is a static site. A static website uses server-side rendering to serve pre-built HTML, CSS, and JavaScript files to a web browser, in contrast to traditional dynamic sites that work by rendering the webpage at the time of the request. It is the most simple form of website that doesn’t store or track information about you. Nothing to worry about.

How do you communicate with your site visitors?

We may contact you to notify you regarding your order, to troubleshoot problems with your order, to resolve a dispute, to collect fees or monies owed, or as otherwise necessary to contact you to enforce our User Agreement, applicable national laws, and any agreement we may have with you. For these purposes we may contact you via email, telephone, text messages, and postal mail.

How do you use cookies and other tracking tools?

The only cookies which are used on this site are set by Snipcart. The only thing that these cookies do is make the shopping cart work. There is no personally identifiable information in them and are considered essential cookies. Without them the shop wouldn’t work and you couldn’t buy some nice artwork for that bare wall in your hallway, sitting room or bedroom. We don’t have analytics. We don’t have tracking scripts which watch where your mouse goes. If you wanted to let us know what you do and do not like about this website then feel free to drop us an email

How can your site visitors withdraw their consent?

If you don’t want us to process your data anymore, please contact us at
